A parcel lot of items to include two Japanese Imari plates, one in the form of a fish, a Chinese Tang dynasty style horse, a Chinese exportware flatback showing five figures under a tree A/F, a Chinese planter and two smaller reticulated plant pots, two dishes decorated with blue and white, and a Chinese scroll showing a mountainside and caligraphy. An early 19thC open face pocket watch by William Ilbery of London, with key wound duplex movement in a rose gold and pinchbeck case, with white enamelled dial having Roman numerals and calibrated minutes and with seconds dial, the bezel set with fifty pearls, and with pearls to the loop and stem, the reverse case with pearl set bezel and French blue enamelled back with radial fan design and gold inlaid rosette centre and within a foliate sprig border; a thumb release button to the loop reveals the finely engraved movement which is signed Ilbery, London and numbered 6086; the inner case bears a number adjacent to the hinge and has a scroll engraved border and rosette medallion centre, 5.8cm diameter overall It is widely considered that watches like this were made for the Chinese market
Two eighteenth century Chinese export blue and white porcelain octagonal tureens and covers with deers head handles and leaf scroll knops painted with figures and landscapes and similar deep tureen stand - the tureens 38cm wide (3) CONDITION REPORT One tureen has two star cracks on underside of cover and small amount of wear on knop. Fritting on rim of lid. The other tureen (figure decoration) crazed on cover. Base repaired in two - stapled. Dish re-glued in two. Fritting and chip on foot rim
