Catherine Hay (5th Feb 1819 - 1st May 1915), was the daughter of James Hay Esq. Of Colliepriest and the Lady Mary Hay. M. 5th July 1854 Graeme Reid Mercer of Gorthy, JP for Perthshire and Midlothian. A good signed First Day Cover issued to commemorate the traditions of Christmas and featuring a gold coloured replica of a Seasons Greetings US postage stamp, signed ('Schulz') by Schulz beneath a good original ink sketch of the head of Snoopy in his hand to a clear area of the cover. Also signed by Mike Peters (1943- ) American Cartoonist, best known for the comic strip Mother Goose and Grimm. Signed ('Mike Peters') by Peters in bold black ink above a good original ink sketch of the bull terrier Grimm in his hand. Post marked at Nazareth, Missouri, 30th October 1985. VG
