Drury Lane Theatre Royal; also 11 loose, rather crude, small watercolours & drawings, profile portraits & 2 copies of Hannibal, A Tragedy in Five Acts by H.R.D. Esq., 32mo., orig. prntd. wrappers, Printed for the Author, 1820. Hugh Duff, a military man & author was the discoverer & editor of The Culloden Papers. At the close of the war, Cobb completed his training as an artist. He would enjoy success and prestige as a painter, and also as the president of the Royal Society of Marine Artists. In 1982, Cobb travelled to the Falkland Islands as a war artist. Ramsay's book has the distinction of being the first work granted a copyright in the United States and the map is one of the earliest battle plans of the Revolution to be engraved in America.
