A Fine Dutch Marquetry Longcase Clock. The 13 inch brass dial having a painted moon roller in the arch above a silvered chapter ring engraved with foliate scrolls between the numerals. The matted centre incorporating a subsidiary seconds dial, calendar aperture and alarum, with a plaque inscribed W. Gib Rotterdam, ornamented with gilt spandrels to the corners. The caddy topped hood with shaped cavetto moulding centred by a carved parcel gilt crest and urn finial, and marquetried with trailing flowers; the dial flanked by gilded integral columns. The trunk having a shaped door with applied edge moulding, a carved scroll crest to the top and a glazed panel framed in a Rococo scrolling gilt metal cartouche with decorative figural mount, inlaid with flowers, a bird and a butterfly and flanked by chequer banded canted sides. The marquetried bombe base raised on lion paw feet, 98 ins (250 cms) overall in height.
A Georgian Flame Mahogany Longcase Clock with eight day movement. The 13 inch brass dial having a painted moon roller, silvered chapter ring with subsidiary seconds and calendar dials to the centre, decorated with engraved scrolls and signed Atkinson Gateshead. The dome-topped hood with fret carved pediment surmounted by three carved and gilded urn finials, and having baluster columns flanking the dial. The trunk with a moulded arch-topped door inlaid with stringing. 96 ins (244 cms) overall height, standing on bracket feet.

A fine cased pair of flintlock duelling pistols by Joseph Manton, serial no.s 6585 for 1815, 25.5cm sighted octagonal browned barrels each with blued foresight, cased hardened, recessed, platinum lined breeches inlet with JOSEPH MANTON LONDON stamp in platinum, colour hardened tangs engraved with flowers and scrolling foliage, colour hardened border and foliate engraved bolted locks with rain proof pans and vented frizzens, each engraved JOSEPH MANTON PATENT and with the serial no.s 6900 and 6901, roller frizzens, half stocked with horn fore-ends, octagonal silver escutcheons, silver barrel bolt escutcheons, chequered butts, blued steel mounts, the butt caps retaining all of their original finish, the trigger guards with traces of finish and with serial numbers, stands of arms and pineapple finials, horn capped wood ramrods, contained in their original case, complete with correct compliment of accessories including red leather covered three-way powder flask, mallet, cleaning brush, turnscrew, flints, balls and patch tin, later brass cleaning rod/rammer, the lid with original makers trade label for Davies, Street, Berkley Square, London, recessed brass carrying handle, ivory keyhole escutcheon. A brass barrelled flintlock blunderbuss with top sprung bayonet, by Robert Wheeler, 37cm three-stage barrel with ringed flared muzzle and engraved with swags at the breech, the bayonet released by a catch at the barrel tang, border engraved stepped lock signed Wheeler, roller frizzen, full stocked with engraved brass mounts, shaped trigger guard with pineapple finial, chequered wrist, horn capped wood ramrod (worm lacking). Cock a later replacment.
