Registration - A465 NRJChassis No. - WP0ZZZ92ZEN403758M.O.T. - February 2025Odometer - 105,000‘A465NRJ’ presents cleanly in crisp Alpine White with a deeply contrasting cabin in brown and white pinstriped velour, or "Nadelstreifen." ‘A465NRJ’ offers an unusually compact and straightforward provenance for a 40 year old car. Just three keepers to date, all friends, and a sensible 105,000 miles covered. The LUX specification offers a nice level of appointment including large, removeable sunroof, electric windows and mirrors and 911 style three spoke steering wheel. The level of originality appears excellent with the often missing sunroof bag and rear luggage roller cover both present. Offered with NO RESERVE and on the cusp of MOT exemption and zero rated road tax status, ‘A465NRJ’ offers a surprisingly practical and useable package.Although you could argue that the 928 was designed first, the 924 was the first Porsche to bring a host watershed features to market. These include the front engine configuration and water cooled power. ‘A465NRJ’ appears to be a fine exemplar of this mould breaking Porsche with designer Harm Lagaay’s sleek, coupe body appearing surprisingly fresh and modern. ‘A465NRJ’ seems to have aged very well, too. There is no sign of common 924 weaknesses here, such as a cracked dashboard top or rips at the junction of the velour and vinyl of the seats. The Audi derived 2-litre engine and associated mechanicals are reportedly well cared for, too. The timing belt was changed at 102,448 miles and new head bolts and gasket set were also fitted at a cost of around £1,400. The original book pack is present, and the service book contains four service stamps. There are also plenty of supporting invoices and bills on hand further documenting ‘A465NRJ’s’ diligent stewardship. Not only does ‘A465NRJ’ hold an advisory free MOT until April 2025, but it offers an exemplary MOT history. Of the 19 MOTs on the DVLA’s portal, just one shows any advisory items and that was for tyres. In summary:A low owner, sensible mileage example of the practical and enjoyable 924Impressively original and boasting an impressive overall conditionA current advisory free MOT and a highly impressive MOT history
