An imposing Victorian 8 day longcase clock in heavily carved oak case. With arch top gilt brass dial incorporating a moon roller, subsidiary date and second dials, with a silvered chapter ring having applied gilt Arabic numeral markers and striking hourly on a large tubular gong, 258cm high. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Outwardly in very good condition. With pendulum, weights lacking.

Short door case, the door being cross-banded and shaped to the top in canted corner section, on lower wider cross-banded box base with bracket feet. 20 1/2" wide x 87 1/2" high x 9" deep.

The stem, leaves and flower petals all encrusted with old and rose cut diamonds in a silver setting with gold back and roller clasp. Un marked, tests for silver and 15ct gold. Measures 3.75cms. Total weight 8.8g.
