*A c1910 Sunbeam 'Golden' gentleman's roadster, having a 24-inch black enamel frame with its original black enamel finish and gold box lining. Retaining its Sunbeam manufactured stepped-hub three-speed gearing, controlled by its original top-tube mounted quadrant. Numbered 109000, it possesses a Brooks B10 leather saddle, 17-inch up-turned handlebars, chain-guard with its Sunbeam logo, and roller lever brake levers operating stirrup brakes. (1)
*Traction Engine. A well-engineered 1in. scale model of the single cylinder, two speed, four shaft general purpose traction engine, Registration No. JH 1420, built to the design of 'Minnie' by R.T. Gallienne, 1978, complete with brazed riveted copper boiler with fitting including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, and clack valves and wash out plug, engine details include single cylinder 5/8in. bore x 1in. stroke, Stephenson's link reversing, ratchet operated lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass, counterbalanced crackshaft, two road speeds mounted inside the horn plates and spoked flywheel, chassis details include worm and roller chain steering, spoked, straked wheel with brass hub caps, footplate controlled damper, winch drum, cable and fair leads, band brake to rear axle, tender tank and other details, finished in maroon, red and black and polished brightwork, the smokebox door lettered R.T.G. & Company, Chester, 29cm x 45cm Provenance: Christies, British Engineerium sale, April 1985. A North European Flintlock Sporting Gun with hexagonal sighted barrel inlaid with gilt maker’s mark at the breech, stepped lock fitted with rainproof pan and roller, figured walnut half-stock, chequered at the hand, raised cheek-piece, and shaped trigger-guard, iron mounts including trigger-guard plate with pineapple finial and butt-plate, complete with wooden ramrod, 72cm barrel. £700 - 900
A good selection of plastic figures including an Athena (Greece) card diorama with two soldiers and a chariot with rider still attached, lacking outer packaging, together with a quantity of unboxed Charbens plastic Crazy Clown circus figures, and a small selection of plastic and metal, mainly soldier figures, by Britains and others, conditions vary but generally F/G, some with damage. Also included in this lot is a boxed Britains 9F Horse Roller from their Home Farm Series, overall G in F/G box, although the box label shows a farm lad in the illustration, it is a farmer figure that is included in this box.
London Country (London Transport-manufactured) DESTINATION BLIND from Addlestone (WY) garage dated 2.3.70, coded 'W' for a 'lowbridge' RLH-type double-decker. The first display is well-used but the remaining displays are generally excellent. Both white hems are present as is the roller at the lower end. [1]
