1988 Ford Escort RS Turbo LHDMake: Ford Model: Escort RS Turbo Year: 1988Mileage: 0VIN: WF0BXXGCABJD33335Configuration: Left Hand DriveRegistration: E379MASTransmission: manual1,600cc. This RS Turbo was first registered in France in 1988 before being re-registered in the UK in 2020. The first owner, who now resides in Spain and is a good friend of the UK owner, commissioned A D Horne & Son to carry out a full restoration. The vendor's describe it as simply stunning. The car has yet to be fully run in with only 33 miles on the clock. It has been subject to some upgrades including hybrid turbo, starter motor, roller rockers and full stainless exhaust. Other than that, the car has been restored to it's original specification. Part of the restoration work included new sills and arches. The original engine had covered around 30,000 kms (18,650 miles) before it's full rebuild. Expert mechanical fuel injection specialists, C & J Autos, have ensured it runs perfectly. This is a no expense spared restoration. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 22ND FEBRUARY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
