Mounted with a William Keith Neal brass collection tag, numbered A131. This gun has seen very little use.

A 20-BORE DOUBLE BARRELLED FLINTLOCK SPORTING GUN BY REYNOLDS OF JOSEPH MANTON INTEREST, 30inch re-browned damascus barrels with gold lined breeches, platinum lined touch holes and signed Reynolds on the sighting channel, border and foliate engraved locks signed REYNOLDS with roller frizzens, rainproof pans and French cocks, in the Manton fashion, half stocked with chequered wrist, rubbed, border and foliate engraved steel mounts, contained in a modern case. See Lot 174 Antony Cribb Ltd 24th July 2018 for a cased pair of percussion duelling pistols signed Thomas Reynolds from Joseph Manton. The over all construction of the gun and details to the locks resemble the work of Joseph Manton's sporting guns.

AN APPROXIMATELY 26 BORE SINGLE BARREL FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOL, maker unknown with a 9'' barrel and a late waterproof lock fitted with a roller bearing, the lock and barrel are heavily rusted and the cock is broken in half, due to the amount of rust on the barrel and lock it has removed the former proof marks and maker identity but the design is clearly English and its embedded features date it to circa 1800, the stock is chequered with a design used by a limited number of companies, the best known being Durs Egg and John Knubley, the stock is complete and in good overall condition but it does contain evidence of old woodworm, the trigger guard is probably made of silver and is in good condition, it bears a pineapple motif on the end of the tang, the lock is attached to the stock with a single bolt, it has lost the tip from its ramrod
