(7 1/4 x 157 1/2 in), carefully laid onto very fine tissue support, some minor splitting, handling creases, some surface dirt and light browning, the outer edge with tears and finger-soiling, wooden roller, without case, [circa 1860s]

Set in Modesto, California, in 1962, the film is a study of the cruising and early rock 'n' roll cultures popular among the early baby boomer generation and received widespread critical acclaim as well as being nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture and Best Director. Produced on a small budget, it has become one of the most profitable films of all time and had a soundtrack that would be a staple in rollerskating rinks around the country for years to come.The poster features a great design by David Willardson, most known for his work with Disney characters, showing a glamourous waitress on roller-skates standing in front of a diner with the black and white image design set against a vivid orange sky. An incredible 'as new' Silver Crest Models made 5" gauge model railway live steam locomotive 1366 Class Great Western. Unfired, unused and completely as new. Purchased back in January 2020 (this year) the incredibly well detailed locomotive comes with all its original paperwork, accessories and boiler certificate. The coal-fired live steam loco includes; two outside cylinders, Stephenson valve gear, cast iron cylinder blocks with bronze liners, drain cocks, lubricator, reverser, sprung axle boxes with needle roller bearings, safety valve, pressure gauge. The advertising notes it as ' Ready-To-Run'. An incredible large scale railway locomotive, in perfect 'as new' and completely unused condition.
