A collection of Matchbox Moko Lesney 1-75 cars, commercial and army vehicles, including a No. 1 diesel road roller, a No. 2 Muir Hill dumper with green wheels (lacking driver), a No. 11 ERF tanker `Esso` with gilded grill and tanks, a No. 17 Matchbox removals van, a No. 19 MG Midget, a No. 30 Ford Prefect, a No. 33 Ford Zodiac, a No. 37 Karrier Bantam 2 Ton, a No. 45 Vauxhall Victor and a No. 49 personnel carrier, all boxed (49) (some playwear, some boxes lightly scuffed, torn and sellotaped, No. 37 box has a tab missing), together with two other vehicles and a No. 1 Accessory Pack Esso petrol pumps and sign, boxed (box creased and scuffed).
Good keyless half plate lever watch by Charles Frodsham, South Molton Street, London, no. 09840 ADFMS, free sprung with duo in uno balance spring, straight line lever with double roller, jewelled to the centre, with duck egg enamel dial in the manner of Willis, in silver open face case with gold joints and lift, 1893, 52cm.
An early 19th century brass barrelled flintlock blunderbuss, having been converted to percussion and subsequently re-converted to flintlock, 27¾” overall, 2 stage bell mouth barrel 12”, the octagonal breech with London and maker’s proofs and engraved “Sherwood, 67 East Smithfield, London”, the flat stepped lock with roller on frizzen spring; walnut fullstock with brass mounts including pineapple finial to trigger guard; original wooden ramrod with worm (tip missing). GWO & basically GC (some damage to fore end)
4 quality clockwork tinplate items A nice selection comprising a Brimtoy Mechanical Steam Roller, c10cm long in green and red with black funnel and red roller; Minic Bulldozer, c7cm long in red with silver metal wheels and grille, black tracks; and a Minic Farm Tractor, c7cm long in green with silver metal wheels and black rubber tyres (cab area and exhaust repainted, possibly refitted), with a matching trailer in green with white tyres, underside repainted. Steam roller and red tractor boxed, minor wear, items GC to VGC.
