A pair of 20 bore flintlock duelling pistols by Brunn, c 1800, 14½" overall, sighted octagonal barrels 9", with London proofs, and re-engraved "No 55' CHERING' CROSS' LONDON"; signed stepped locks with safety bolts and roller on frizzen springs; dark walnut fullstocks with rounded deeply chequered butts, steel mounts including engraved trigger guards with pineapple finials, and with steel tipped wooden ramrods. GWO & C (some well executed restoration, one trigger guard screw missing); in their green baize lined fitted mahogany case with folding carrying handle to the lid and two hook and eye fasteners, containing tapered beaded 3 way copper powder flask (worn, no spring), a reproduction cleaning rod with inter changeable worm end, and reproduction pricker. A massive 7 bore (.875") flintlock big game rifle by Jover, c 1790, 50½" overall, re-browned octagonal twist barrel 34", with very deep narrow 3 groove rifling, platinum line at breech, platinum touch hole, gold poincon of D. Egg (worn), and single folding leaf rearsight; flat stepped lock with semi rainproof pan, safety bolt, and large roller on the frizzen spring, the plate signed "Jover" in flowing script and engraved with a tiger on the tail; dark varnished half stock with horn fore end cap, chequered wrist, and silver barrel wedge plates and escutcheon; steel mounts including large scrolled trigger guard engraved with a tiger on the bow, tiger finial, and housing a single set trigger, the butt plate tang naively engraved with a bear; within brass mounted ebony ramrod. GWO & basically GC (some wear to lock and mounts, signs of old repairs to fore end). £2500-3000
A brass barrelled flintlock coaching blunderbuss by J Harding & Son, 32" overall, the slightly swamped late 17th century 16" 3 stage barrel having London and maker's proofs, the breech engraved "J HARDING & SON. BORO. LONDON.S", the muzzle engraved "FOR HIS MAJESTY'S MAIL COACHES"; the flat stepped lock having roller on the frizzen spring, engraved "J. HARDING & SON", dated "1837" on the tail, and bearing crown over arrow stamp; walnut fullstock with brass mounts including flower engraved trigger guard with flared finial, and engraved butt plate tang; the original brass tipped ramrod having iron worm. Unbranded - A vintage wooden motorised Cabin Cruiser named Jackpot and a scratch built wooden Garage model. The boat is 76 cm long and has its own stand, the motor is still in place does turn. The windscreen and rear canopy structure has broken off, most of it is still there but one of the side windows and its frame are missing.
