An exhibition standard 1 inch scale model of an Allchin Agricultural Traction engine 'Royal Chester', built by the late Mr Patrick Avery of Ashbourne Derbyshire with single cylinder, being a two speed general purpose engine. The engine has a silver soldered copper boiler with fittings including water gauge, pressure gauge, safety valve, blower, clack and blowdown valves.Engine details include single cylinder approximately ¾ inch bore x 1 inch stroke, drain cocks, ratchet mechanical lubricator, trunk type crosshead guide, Stephenson's link reverse, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, two road speeds and spoked flywheel. Chassis details include spoked straked wheels, worm and roller chain steering, spud pan, damper, cable drum, fairleads, hand brake to second shaft. Elvis Presley signed photo with letter of provenance from Kenny Johnson of Radio Merseyside, whose job it was to attend high profile music events. In the 1980's Johnson exchanged some early Beatles material he had from the Cavern days, with Carl Perkins who was performing at a gig (Carl Lee Perkins (April 9, 1932 - January 19, 1998). Perkins was an American singer-songwriter known as the "the King of Rockabilly"), and who had the Elvis photo. Also included four 6" x 4" / 15cm x 10cm photos showing Johnson & Perkins at the gig in the 80's. Elvis photo measures 9" x 6.75" / 23cm x 17cm., actual visible photo excluding frame. Guaranteed genuine.Information provided by the current owner states; Originally the property of the singer Carl Perkins. Elvis covered Carl's million selling hit Blue suede shoes as a result they became life long friends. Carl also became friends with the Beatles especially George Harrison. Kenny Johnson. who was an original British rock n roller who initially went under the name of Sonny Webb & the Cascades. Twice he actually topped the bill at the famous Cavern with the Beatles as the support band. In later years Kenny switched to country music known throughout Britain & Europe as Kenny Johnson & North Wind. As a result of his success as a singer he went on to compere weekly on B.B.C.'s radio Merseyside for almost forty years. The radio station also promoted concerts in Southport, this is where Kenny came into contact with Carl after in depth conversation an exchange of memorabilia was agreed, Elvis for Beatles. the photos show Carl & Kenny together. There is no doubt the signature is genuine, the letters & photos confirm this.

A George III oak and mahogany eight day longcase clock with marquetry patera and banding. With brass arch top dial incorporating a moon roller and date chapter. The arch signed Humphrey Wainwright, Bunny, 208cm high.Condition report intended as a guide only.With weights and pendulum. The works have been cleaned. Slight losses and chips to the timber but overall very good. Good colour. No keys. Mechanism not tested.

Engine details include single cylinder with 1½in stroke by 1in bore, drain cocks, mechanical lubricator, reverse gear, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass, Chassis details include solid roll wheels, belly tank supporting coal tenders. The model is painted green and black, the cab with red interior, and has a brass makers plaque, 'R. L Hackett & Sons, Exeter', and a name plaque, 'Patience', last fired in 2018, no other boiler history available, 35in (89cm) long x 15½in (39.25cm) wide x 25¼in (64cm) high.
