A fabulous hand painted wooden Room Set, probably Southern German mid 19th century, painted ochre exterior with painted marble effect façade with three moulded columns and decorative scalloped border above, having two rooms with large glazed windows to back with painted window bars with moulded frames and sills, original roller blinds in cream and interior connecting door, with original wallpapers and vibrantly painted patterned floor, condition: lovely original piece, normal wear and tear with age, 16 ½” (42cm) tall, 24 ½” (62cm) wide, 13” (33cm) deep.

A circa 1876 44-inch Ordinary. Believed to be by Haynes & Jeffries, this early open-head machine has 24-inch straight handlebars with turned bone grips in good condition, cotton wheel roller saddle spring support, padded leather saddle and saddle pan, mounting step, cylindrical section backbone, swaged front forks leading to adjustable hub bearings and large brass oil cisterns of the period. Later, but perfectly useable, rat-trap pedals are fitted to 5-inch slotted cranks.
