Pickering type governor brakes fitted to back wheels cable drum and fairleads lubricators crosshead guides Stephenson’s link reverse eccentric driven feed pump and bypass two road speeds and solid flywheel chassis details include spoked straked wheels with fitted rubber tyres worm and roller chain steering side belly tanks with rivet work and applied Fowler of Leeds crest electric generators fitted with working lights to canopy supported on brass olivers with fascia board painted Mighty in Strength and Endurance . The engine is finished in red yellow and black paintwork with lined finish and polished brightwork 108cm long in total. This model has won nine major award throughout England has been featured on BBC Television made the front page of The Model Engineer magazine in 1984 and took some four and a half years to build. It comes complete with miniature lamps hand tools and photographic build records. The model was steamed prior to painting but has never been used since

A part early 19th Century mahogany cased 8 day musical moon roller Long Case Clock signed George Monks of Prescott, the arched hood surmounted by three turned urn shaped finials over swan neck pediment, with reverse painted and gilt highlighted glazed frieze with arched door flanked by reeded free standing columns with gilt metal mounts, to an ogee throat over a shell inlaid frieze, to reeded quarter columns, flanking a shaped long trunk door, to a plinth base with canted and reeded corners, on bracket feet, the 14” arched brass dial surmounted by a signed and silvered strap over a painted moon phases with cast and applied scrolling foliate spandrels to a Roman and Arabic chapter ring with inside date ring, to a later matted centre with sunk subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands, to an associated three train movement, the plates united by four heavy plain pillars with anchor escapement and strike on 8 bells and a coiled gong, height 96”

One of 250 copies, folio, cont. full red morocco gilt, t.e.g., with Dresser gilt emblem, incorporating rustic initial letter D and owl on upper cover (corners of upper cover with some wear). Prospectus pasted to blank before title. 27 lithographic plates by J.G. Keulemans, in two states, hand coloured and uncoloured, some proofs before letter, 3 with pencil instructions to printers (one "too dark", two "print a little darker"), 2 with altered paste-down captions. Plate of Weigalls Roller in 3 states, 2 of them coloured, one with additional bird in background. Wood engraved emblem on title, repeated on binding.
