Provenance: from an astonishing collection of classical music ephemera which includes autographs from many of the 20th century's most renowned conductors and composers. A Spanish handbill for a June 1936 performance by Alfred Cortot, signed in pencil by Corto A ticket stub for the concert. Handbill has been folded and shows some splitting and paper losses, age wear. (Clasps gone, small defect to spine, chain hole visible in back cover, lower ticket removed from front side (colour difference), faintly waterstained/browned in places). NOTE:Volume two only of the extensive Strasbourg edition of the works of Johannes Gerson (1363-1429), edited by Peter Schott und Johann Geiler von Kaysersberg. Johannes Gerson, chancellor of the University of Paris, was one of the most influential theologians of the fifteenth century. He worked to resolve the Great Schism and played an important role at the Council of Constance, where he influenced the decisions concerning the fate of the Hussites. His extenisve writings on ecclesiology, reform, pastoral care and mysticism were very popular during the later Middle Ages and were frequently printed during the second half of the fifteenth century, both as individual treatises and in collected editions. W. title-p. printed in black and red and 24 chromolithogr. plates, partly finished by hand, hinged to mounts and loose as issued, each mount captioned w. a printed ticket in the outer right lower corner. Lge-fol. Ocl. clamshell portfol. w. ties, front side titled in gold. (Old mounts replaced by high (museum) standard acid free cardboard (0,5 mm), plates and separate tickets mounted w. dextrine, title-p. and plates a bit foxed in places, but a superb copy w. short conservation report by Floor Meijboom). NOTE:Abram Salm (1801-1876), tobacco planter, spent twenty-nine years in Indonesia and was a self-taught draughtsman and painter of numerous landscapes in Java, 24 of which were copied by the painter and lithographer J.C. Greive (1837-1891), at the request of the publisher Frans Buffa. The quality and finish of the plates in 'Java' is generally held to be Greive's and Buffa's greatest effort, and thus represent some of the finest 19th c. lithographic book illustrations to have been published in the Netherlands. Moreover Salm depicted landscapes which had scarcely before been depicted in topographical prints of Indonesia. Two versions of this work exist: tinted and coloured with hand finishing; this being a copy with hand finishing. The size of the plates vary slightly, but they are c. 360 x 265 mm each: 1. Etched glass with the fingers pointing to the amount. In working condition, the oak drawer is in good condition, castings are in good condition, free of cracks and breaks. Estate of Jeremy Bulloch - Star Wars Revenge Of The Sith (2005) - Bulloch's personal ticket to the Premiere of the movie at Leicester Square Odeon, Monday 16th May 2005. The ticket printed on heavy gloss card stock, featuring a reproduction of the movie poster to the front. Accompanied by a 20th Century Fox compliments slip, and housed in the original envelope addressed to Bulloch. Unique piece of Star Wars memorabilia. Bulloch played Captain Colton in the movie, and remains one of the few actors to have appearances in both the original and prequel trilogies.

Comprising: Watts' VIP post-show party lanyard (named to Watts), his premiere ticket for the Royal / Front Circle, and his premiere brochure from the event. All as used and owned by Watts, then later given to Bulloch. A unique collection.

The first three stories are narrated by first-person child protagonists, while the remaining twelve are written in the third person and deal with the lives of progressively older people.
