BELGIAN ARMY V BRITISH ARMY Ticket for 13/10/1945 at the RSC Anderlecht stadium, very slightly creased, and Menu and Invitation for the Dinner at the Hotel Metropole in Brussels 22/2/1948. The menu is signed on the back by 11 players from each team. Also included are a pamphlet relating to the hotel in English, newspaper reports and official letters in French. Generally good

BURNDEN PARK DISASTER 1946 FA CUP / BOLTON WANDRERES V STOKE CITY Tie 9/3/1946 at Burnden Park, Bolton. Official 4-page programme plus match ticket for the Burnden Stand Paddock. The match resulted in a crowd crush that cost the lives of Thirty-Three spectators. It was the deadliest stadium-related disaster in British history until the Ibrox Park disaster in 1971. Programme is slightly creased, minor tears and slightly marked. Fair to generally good

Brecknell, Dolman and Rogers B.D.R. Super 1956 One Arm Bandit with horizontal reels. The BDR Super was manufactured in Bristol by Brecknell, Dolman and Rogers, who also had much experience in manufacturing ticket and vending machines. These machines were different because of their cone shaped horizontal aligned reels, and this particular machines staggered super jackpot feature. 6d play. Upon metal framed stand, no key. Mechanism is working, but reels sticking. Measuring approx. 49" height, 16" width, 15" depth. Please note: All the lots within this auction are located off-site in Kent. Collection will be by appointment from this location which will be made known to buyers upon purchase.
