BEATLES THE: A vintage printed 4to programme for The Beatles Show at the Odeon, Weston-Super-Mare (24th July 1963), individually signed to the cover by all four of The Beatles individually, John Lennon ('John Lennon'), Paul McCartney ('Paul McCartney, love to Sylvia), George Harrison ('To Sylvia, George Harrison xx') and Ringo Starr ('Ringo Starr'). Lennon has signed in red ink and the others all in black inks. Also signed to the inside pages by Gerry Marsden, Tommy Quickly and a few other musicians (some on irregularly clipped pieces sellotaped to pages). The programme also includes a loosely inserted ticket stub for the performance. Small collection of printed ephemera relating to Blondin comprising his attractive visiting card with his printed name Chevalier Blondin, The Hero of Niagara and address at Little Ealing, Middlesex; a blank printed oblong 4to document to record ticket sales etc., for his performances, with an oval engraved vignette portrait in the upper left corner; and a blank printed 4to sheet of stationery featuring a diagram and step-by-step instructions on how to erect Blondin's circus tent. Steve Perryman, Tottenham Hotspur. Official programme for the F.A. Cup final vs Manchester City played at Wembley, 9th May 1981. Signed in black ink to the front cover by Perryman. Also a mono 10”x8” press photograph of Perryman introducing the players to H.R.H. Prince Michael of Kent, nicely signed in black by Perryman, and a used match ticket for the Wembley replay on 14th May 1981. Australia. Selection of nine typewritten and handwritten letters/notes, mainly dated 1950’s-1980’s, all signed by a Australian Test player. Signatures include Bert Oldfield, Ben Barnett (signed Ben), Len Darling (3), W. Whitty, M. Harvey and H. Alexander (2). The letter from Oldfield dated 1955 and on W.A. Oldfield Sports headed paper regarding supplying S.A.C.A. sweaters. The other letters regarding autograph requests, ticket acknowledgements etc. G
Two copies of the Official Souvenir Program of the Coronation of Their Majesties King George VI and Queen Elizabeth , one copy with gilt tooling, together with a ticket for the Parliament Square stands, a London Passenger Transport ticket for 12th May 1937 from High Street Kensington to Westminster and an instruction to ticket holders Parliament Square and New Palace Yard stands at 69/77. In addition to King George`s Jubilee Trust Official Programs of the Jubilee procession and the program of Gilbert Miller Presents Helen Hayes in Victorian Regina by Lawrence Hausman where the entire production was designed by Rex Whistler.
1959 FA Cup Final, Luton Town v Nottingham Forest, a collection of items, relating to the Final game, played on 02/05/1959. The match programme, community song sheet, and ticket from the game, together with a London Midland Travel flysheet, and the Forest Cup Story Players brochure, in addition to this are 33 newspapers, mainly full editions, from before and after the game, good coverage from the National papers, but many Nottingham issues, a nice lot.
