The typed quotation, comprising eight lines, is taken from one of Dahl's most famous works, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (1964) and states, in part, 'Charlie picked it up and tore off the wrapper…and suddenly…from underneath the wrapper…there came a brilliant flash of gold.
