With hand written letter of provenance signed by the vendor, who worked for the printing firm McCorquodale & Co Ltd in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, from 1963 onwards, during which time he was involved in the production of the programmes for the 1966 World Cup that were required in the North West. The vendor and a work colleague and good friend successfully applied for tickets and attended the 7 group C matches plus semi final and final and acquired all the items present in the lot himself in person. Novak Djokovic Head Speed MP315 2011 Wimbledon Championship-winning match used tennis racket interior of the frame stamped NOVAK, SUN 27.0, B051101, with personalised grip, some string damage, 300grms approx, 68.5cm long, a ticket stub for the Mens singles final, 3rd July 2011, finals day programme, guide and transcript on interview with Novak Djokovic relating to the racket (4) The racket was used by Novak in the 2011 Wimbledon Men's final more specifically the racket he used in the fourth set to complete his first-ever Wimbledon Championship. He dropped the racket at the end of the match to celebrate and shake Rafa's hand before he was handed the racket back by the ball boy and then he threw into the crowd and was caught be our vendor. In the final played on 3rd July Novak defeated Rafael Nadal 3 sets to 1. There is footage of Novak throwing three further rackets into the crowd at the end of the match. However, our example is the one used to win the Championship

Unchecked for completeness or correctness and viewing recommended.
Railwayana a pair of Station items consisting of a Wall Lamp measuring 12"/20" and standing 10" deep with 3 x glass panels to front and sides, single door to front right hand side with securing brackets to the rear for independent hanging. The lamp has been overpainted with some rust to back panel but does include an internal reservoir, front glass panel is broken, lot also includes a cast Hand Ticket Stamping / Dating Machine in original green finish with an illegible oval builders plate to the top. Condition varies throughout from Fair to Good. (2)
