This was originally issued to Aldershot & District in 1958 but may have finished working life on the Isle of Man as per the IoM Road Services unused ticket packs with the machine. London Underground ENAMEL SIGN 'Trains' with left-facing arrow. Estimated 1960s/70s. A single-sided, flanged plate measuring 16" x 12" (41cm x 30cm) that was probably located at the entrance to the platforms in a station foyer or ticket hall. Small blemishes on the edges/flanges but overall In very good, ex-use condition. [1]

Trawl, first edition, signed presentation inscription from the author to June Tillinghast on title, ticket to a screening of You're Human Like the Rest of Them loosely inserted, original boards, slight shelf-lean, light bumping to spine ends, dust-jacket, spine ends and corners a little chipped, light rubbing and creasing to head and foot, a very good copy, 8vo, 1966.⁂ A good association copy, inscribed to the wife of Tony Tillinghast, Johnson's long-standing friend and correspondent whose death from cancer in 1964 inspired The Unfortunates. June Tillinghast remained friends and correspondents following Tony's death.

A bronze ring with D-section hoop, expanding at the shoulders to an ellipsoidal bezel and set with an oval chalcedony gemstone engraved 'FILHTOU', 'of Filitos', over two lines in Greek. 8.99 grams, 26.24mm overall, 20.73mm internal diameter (approximate size British N 1/2, USA 6 3/4, Europe 14.35, Japan 13) (1"). Ex London, UK, collection, 1990s. Accompanied by an old cataloguing ticket. The inscription identifies the original owner. It was worn to convey the wearer's wealth and social standing, but also served a practical purpose; signet rings were used as seals to authenticate legal documents or letters. Very fine condition. A large wearable size.

An English carved oak figurine of a youthful monk with flowing hair wearing a floor-length tunic, scapula and cowl, standing on a domed base; the left arm bent and hidden in the folds of the sleeve, supporting a basket of fruit; the right arm bent and hand curled into a fist; iron nails to the sides and reverse. 2.6 kg, 51.5cm high (20 1/4").
