Memorabilia relating to the England v Wales wartime international match at Wembley 25th September 1943, comprising: an official programme signed by Hardwick, Scott, and Matthews for England, and by Lambert, Jones, Burgess, Sidlow, A Powell and I Powell; together with a ticket stub and a `pirate` programme (3) The match was unusual in as much that both teams had a hat-trick scorer, Welsh (for England, ironically!) and Lowrie for Wales. An unused ticket for the Italy v Northern Ireland World Cup qualifying match played at the Stadio Olimpico, Rome, 25th April 1957 Italy won this game 1-0, but Northern Ireland progressed through the group to qualify for the World Cup finals in Sweden in 1958. The campaign included a 2-1 win over Italy in the reverse fixture at Windsor Park. Provenance: The San Siro Museum, Milan.

Huddersfield-based Ken Stanley was a pioneers of football agency and represented players such as George Best and Denis Law, as well as the collective interests of the England squads. He specialised in all areas of off-pitch commercialisation, such as branding, endorsement and promotions. Famously, he was the man behind the Esso World Cup Coin Collection and the recording of "Back Home". A pair of framed autograph displays of the England 1966 and 1970 World Cup squads, the 1966 sheet signed by all 11 England finalists, Alf Ramsey and his staff of Harold Shepherdson and Les Cocker, and nine of the remaining Squad players, mounted together with an original ticket for the final and a World Cup Willie sticker; the 1970 sheet with 30 signatures of players and staff; the two pieces uniformly mounted, framed & glazed, 56 by 41cm., 22 by 16in.; sold together with a Graham Griffiths colour print titled `England World Cup Winners 1966` and a colour printed photograph of the 1970 World Cup squad (4)
EUROPEAN CUP WINNERS FINAL A ticket from the 1972 Final between Glasgow Rangers and Moscow Dynamo played on 24 May 1972 at the Nou Camp Barcelona. There was no programme from this game, so this really remains the only official record of the match which Rangers won 3-2.
