WORLD CUP 1954 Official programme with match ticket stapled to team page for Quarter Final, Austria v Switzerland, 26/6/54 in Lausanne. Score, scorers are noted which is just as well as it was probably the most incredible World Cup Quarter Final of all-time. Austria led 5-4 at half-time, eventually winning 7-5 and even missing a penalty. Ticket is good and programme is generally good as scorers etc and times are noted. Generally good
TICKETS 1967 Mexico City Hexagonal III International Tournament held over 10 days at the Estadio Azteca, including Sheff Wed, Bologna, America, Espanyol, Toluca and Mexico XI. Six day tickets to include Sheff Wed v Espanyol and v America plus ticket for the Final Mexico XI v Espanyol. Rare. Generally Good
MATCH TICKETS Collection of circa 150 football tickets, mainly year 2000 onwards but quite a few earlier. Includes 1966 World Cup ticket wallet. Tickets for German Cup Final 2010, Germany v England 2008, 1983 Milk Cup Final, Scunthorpe v Football League Select 14/8/88 (opening of Glanford Park), Alphense Boys v Glasgow Rangers 16/7/2000, Leeds v Besiktas 2000 (Champions League-how times changed!!), 3 x FIFA Club World Cup games 2010 in UAE including the Final, Anderlecht v Hibernian 92, Cup Semi-Final replay Palace v Man Utd 95, 1998 Charity Shield, 1990 Cup Final + replay. A good number of Scottish tickets, Newcastle home and away tickets and several foreign tickets including Champions League. Most are in good condition, some creasing. Generally good
SIR MATT BUSBY Official programme for the Sir Matt Busby Testimonial match, Manchester United v Republic of Ireland XI dated 11/8/91 together with programme and ticket for the "Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration for the Life of Sir Matt Busby 1909-1994" at Old Trafford 24/4/94. Best, Charlton, Kidd, Foulkes and Crerand appeared in a 7-a-side game played before the match v Ireland. Good
LEICESTER - BARBARIANS RUGBY Nine programmes for games played at Leicester Rugby Club v Barbarians, 2 x J.E.Thorneloe's XV v Barbarians, 27/12/43 and 26/12/44, plus 7 x Leicester v Barbarians, 1946, 48, 51, 52, 53, 54 and 55, games played on Boxing Day or shortly thereafter. Also includes a ticket and a card Tea menu for the game played 27/12/51. Generally good

Those with both programme and ticket are Home Farm Select XI v Manchester United, 11/8/76 and Ireland Olympic XI v Liverpool, 19/8/87. Also includes programme for Paddy Mulligan Testimonial, Mulligan XI v Nottingham Forest, 5/8/80 at Dalymount Park. Good

Programmes include European matches, 26 x 1950's, 1967 Fairs Cup Final at Leeds, Nottm. Forest handbook 1966/7, Brighton & Hove Albion handbook 1962/3, Sunderland's Promotion Year 1964 brochure and a Stoke City Centenary brochure plus some modern Press teamsheets. Generally good
WALES v ENGLAND 1945 War Charity International 5 May 1945 played at Ninian Park, programme and ticket. The ticket has left hand corner missing, possibly torn on entry, complimentary stamp on front and F.A of Wales stamp to back. The programme has the lower third cropped leaving the field of play which has been signed by 12 players and officials including Winter, Hughes, Davies, Burgess, Astbury, Lucas and Cumner for Wales and Matthews for England. Slight marks. Fair

1951 10 June (Leigh-Parkin) self-addressed envelope to Cocos Island with the 'COCOS-SYDNEY' cachet overlaid at the foot by a 'COMPLIMENTARY FLIGHT' label (covering "Sydney"), franked with B.M.A. Malaya 10c tied by the C&W LTD COCOS cds dated 10 June 51, on the reverse the typewritten 'PER QUANTAS/CATALINA/VH-EBA/ label, tied by another strike of the C&W cds also the original Complimentary Flight ticket for Mr Leigh-Parkin entitling him to a complimentary flight "Island Voyager" on June 10th 1951, which has another of the typewritten labels on the reverse, fine and scarce. Note Mr Leigh-Parkin created the flight labels and 'lightning flash" cachet
