1923 CUP FINAL TICKET Ticket for the 1923 Cup Final, first Final at Wembley, tickets were only issued for the seats for this Final and this resulted in almost 200,000 people turning up and hoping to pay on the gate. Every Cup Final since has been all-ticket. This ticket for the North Stand seats has a very small scuff, almost insignificant and is otherwise in good condition.
MAN UTD / MUNICH Programme and ticket for Manchester United v Sheffield Wednesday, 19/2/58, FA Cup, the first United match after the Munich Air Disaster. United went on to reach Wembley starting with this emphatic 3-0 victory over Wednesday as a wave of emotion drove United forward. The ticket is dated for the original date15/2/58 and is , as usual, in half as the other half was given up on admittance ( Ground ticket). The programme does not have the token and the teams have been entered neatly.Other than this the programme is generally good. As

Also includes nine Cadbury Schweppes Jamjar lids including Charlton, Johnstone, Bremner, Best and Ball. Other items include fixture cards, pennant and 16 metal pin badges issued by Mastercard for Euro 96. Many of the tickets relate to Hearts but other Clubs are included. Fair

Tickets comprise Leeds v Barcelona Semi-Final 74/5 autographed on reverse by Joe Jordan and an official folder from Euro 2004 containing three match tickets, England v Croatia, v Switzerland and Quarter Final v Portugal + two hospitality passes and Event ticket card for France v England. MISCELLANY Four sporting items, Dinner Menu for the Bury St Edmunds Bicycle and Athletic Club, 14/10/1909 ( very good), ticket Royal Navy v The Army 7/3/1936 at Twickenham, small booklet "Football Competition Recorder" presented by Racing and Football Outlook, and finally Royal Navy College Athletic Sports programme/booklet dated May 19th 1886 and in good condition, sports included Heaving The Lead, Bicycle Slow Race ( I could enter that), Wide Jump, Sack Race and Three Legged Race amongst a few more standard events. Generally good
TREASURE BOX A box full of Sporting Delights, Football, Cricket and other Sports covered, football items include 1962 Cup Final, 1963 European Cup Final, 1979 Cup Final programmes, Schools match at Wembley with ticket, International match programme with ticket, Scottish League Cup Final 1962 programme + Semi-Finals from 58, 59 and 61, , over 90 football programmes, 60s onwards are included and book Famous Football Clubs "Arsenal" by Brian Glanville. Cricket items include pre-war sets of Wills and Players Cigarette Cards, cricket annuals 1934 onwards, benefit brochures, Tour Souvenirs 1951-61, scorecards including Test Matches and book MCC 1787-1937 (The Times). Other sports include 2 pre-war editions of Speedway News and various items relating to Speedway, Motor racing, Olympic Games and Table tennis. Over 100 World Cup covers and stamped items are included + Jimmy Greaves autographed cover, trade cards and Fgootball Annuals for 26/27 and 27/28. A number of unusual items are included eg Empire Pool and Sports Arena Wembley Grand Re-opening Gala programme dated 15/12/45 ( includes Wembley Lions v Canadian Military Ice Hockey match). Programme for the 1951 Speedway Riders Championship of the World is also included.( at Cardiff). Many other items make this a box to delve into, condition obviously varies but overall is at least Fair amd many items are Good. As described

OLYMPICS Small selection of Olympic items, ticket for Yugoslavia v Turkey, football 1960 in Florence (Rome Olympics), programme for Hockey 7/8/48 inc GB v Switzerland and 3/8/48 inc Afghanistan v USA ( no change there !!), both copies have punch-holes, also included are World Sports 1960 Rome Olympics Results edition and 1952 Helsinki Olympic Games Souvenir issue, final item is a copy of Boxing dated April 1961.
