* Graf Zeppelin. An extremely rare original passenger ticket (no. 5254), Hamburg-Amerika Linie, issued in the name of Ignaz Anton Tierne(?), for a round trip flight from Pernambuco, [Brazil], starting on 21 October 1931, printed in blue and black, with manuscript additions, creased where previously folded, split along centrefold with old sellotape stains, 31 x 19cm. Count Von Zeppelin, the inventor of the rigid airship, was almost 62 when his LZ1 first flew on 2 July 1900. When LZ127 appeared in 1928, the new liner of the air was called Graf Zeppelin in his memory. For almost a decade, this giant carried passengers and cargo, crossing the Atlantic many times and, in 1929 flew around the world at an average speed of 113 kph (70 mph). (1)

A set of ten 1966 World Cup ticket stubs, for all the matches played in London during the tournament, complete with original paper wallet, printed notice from the World Cup Organisation and recorded delivery envelope; sold together with a small quantity of football programmes and ticket stubs including Wembley matches and London fixtures, predominantly West Ham and Chelsea (a qty.)
Four 1966 World Cup tickets for matches at Goodison Park, three 1/8th finals stubs and an unused ticket in very good condition for the Portugal v North Korea 1/4f, in original paper wallet & recorded delivery envelope . The unused ticket for the quarter-final in this lot relates to one of the finest matches in World Cup history. The extraordinary North Korea team, who had already recorded a shock defeat over Italy in the group stages, raced to a 3-0 lead in the first 22 minutes. The Portuguese, however, were inspired by the sensational Eusebio who scored four goals and set up the other as Portugal won a truly memorable game 5-3 to set up a semi-final berth with hosts England.
A ticket stub for the 1966 World Cup match North Korea v Chile played at Ayresome Park, sold together with a 1966 World Cup tournament programme; the lot also including a pair of tickets for the 1961 F.A. Amateur Cup final (4). Only 15,877 turned out to watch this eighth final match, making this particular stub one of the hardest to find.

The business is owned by the O`Brien Brothers running the ferry between Doolin, The Aran Islands and the cliffs of Moher. The artist, whilst on a visit to Ireland, was so taken with the building and local stories of the brothers, he painted this work
