Burney (Fanny) Evelina: or The History of a Young Lady's Introduction to the World, hand-coloured aquatint additional title and 6 hand-coloured engraved plates after W.Heath and others, most with aquatint, rather browned, plates offset, 3A gathering a little short, contemporary red cloth, paper label to spine, with bookseller's ticket "A.Playter. Dealer in English Books...Amsterdam" to foot of front pastedown, uncut, rubbed and faded (particularly spine), a few stains, recased, preserved in later red cloth drop-front box (a little soiled and faded), [Bobins 1323; Tooley 118], 8vo, Edward Mason, 1821.⁂ The first issue of this scarce illustrated edition of Burney's epistolary novel; it was reissued the following year by Jones and Co. Library Hub cites one copy only, in the British Library.

The body was brought from Walmer Castle to lie in state in the Hall of Chelsea Hospital from 11th-17th November 1852.
