Black ink signature (`Muhammad Ali`) and date, 10th December 1992, in his hand, on the verso of a slim, oblong 12mo printed ticket for the Heavyweight Championship fight between Muhammad Ali and Larry Holmes at the Civic Auditorium, Redding, California, 2nd October 1980. SINATRA FRANK: (1915-1998) American Singer & Actor, Academy Award winner. Programme signed, the printed folio programme for a Royal Gala Night performance by Sinatra at the Royal Albert Hall, London, 28th February 1977. Signed by Sinatra with his name alone to the pale blue border beneath his colour image on the front cover. The signature is a little light although completely legible. Together with a second printed programme for a performance by Sinatra at the Royal Albert Hall, London, 17th September 1984 (accompanied by the original ticket stub) signed to the front cover by actor Gregory Peck and television presenter Michael Parkinson, each with their names alone in blue ink to clear areas. BEATLES THE: A page removed from an autograph album individually signed in bold black fountain pen ink by three of The Beatles, John Lennon (`John Lennon xxx`), Paul McCartney (`To Helen, love from The Beatles, Paul McCartney xxx`) and George Harrison (`love from George Harrison xxxx`). Ringo Starr`s `signature` has been added at the base of the page in another hand, possibly by Paul McCartney. Together with a second page removed from the same album, curiously `signed` by John Lennon, `Benny Higgins (juggler)` in bold black fountain pen ink. Neatly annotated in ink at the base by a collector, `John Lennon`s joke`. Accompanied by a ticket stub for The Beatles concert at the Princess Theatre, Torquay, Sunday 18th August (1963), where the signatures were obtained. The two pages were removed from the album contained in lot 488 (see note of provenance). Some very slight surface creasing and an extremely minor, light stain only just affecting one word of McCartney`s inscription, but not the signatures. Two tape stains appear at the upper and lower edges of the ticket. Generally about VG, 3

West`) on a 12mo printed card, being an incomplete admission ticket to a lecture at the Royal Academy in London. Also signed in ink by William Theed the elder (1764-1817) English Sculptor and Painter. With the Royal Academy red ink stamp in the lower left corner. VG
EDWARD J HARDING (Irish 1804-1870), The Donkey Ride, family portrait, a gentleman with his wife and child, watercolour and pencil heightened with white, signed and dated 1839, Christie`s Sale lot ticket No.128 19 May 2000 verso, 19 1/4" x 14", gilt frame Edward J Harding, address 11 South Mall, Cork, was a portrait painter in oil, watercolour, pen and ink. He painted the young Queen Victoria. He was also a miniaturist.

Dickens's letters to John Forster and other friends revealed some disillusionment with America, exacerbated by adverse press reactions to his campaign for International Copyright and the exhausting number of public receptions. Hand-coloured aquatint frontispiece, and 22 plates of which 12 hand-coloured and some folding, folding engraved plan of Moscow. (Some offsetting, occasional spotting, tear in the plan not affecting the engraving.) Contemporary calf by J Goodwin with ticket, sides ruled in gilt (rebacked, sides scuffed, extremities rubbed). Provenance: a 19th-century collection (armorial bookplate). FIRST EDITION. With fine hand-coloured aquatint views of the Kremlin by Edward Finden after Lavrov, including a folding panorama from the river. Lyall lived in Russia, practising as a young doctor after graduating in medicine at Edinburgh. 1960 EUROPEAN CUP FINAL TICKET Scarce ticket for the famous 1960 European Cup Final at Hampden Park, Glasgow, Real Madrid defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 7-3. This scarce ticket is even more unusual because it is complete with counterfoil. The father of the vendor who bought the ticket could not attend due to work commitments and the ticket, for the East Terracing, was never used. The ticket has some ageing and a fold, but condition is fair-generally good, it is complete and does not have any writing. Fair-generally good
