Ephemera – Royalty – George V decorative ticket being an invitation to the Coronation of George V and Queen Mary in 1911^ signed by the Duke of Norfolk as Earl Marshal and made out to Sir Charles Steward Scott^ a career diplomat who had been Ambassador to Imperial Russia from 1898-1904. The ticket is printed on a large sheet of card approx 35x29cm and features an allegorical figure bearing the orb and sceptre^ flanked by the heraldic devices of the King and Queen.
Admission ticket to Vauxhall pleasure gardens – an original printed admission ticket to the gardens with the permission ‘Admit Two – Globe’ with ms insertion ‘Tuesday July thirteen 1847’ and signed A Gore. Rare. Vauxhall Pleasure gardens was the most famous place of its kind in the country – particularly towards the end of the 18th c. First freely open^ charges were later made to access the many attractions^ but following the bankruptcy of the owners the gardens were sold in 1841 and closed permanently in 1859. The site can still be visited today on the banks of the Thames in London.
Ever Ready ticket clock of cylindrical form, in a silver plated and glass case with swing handle and engraved plaque, together with a German novelty clock in the form of a Scottie dog (2) CONDITION REPORT Glass has a crack. Some numbers have been broken and stuck back with sellotape. Otherwise very good condition. There is no key. It can be manually operated to change numbers with winder on the base - does not appear to work. The wooden Scottie dog clock has lost the top of one ear. His eyes turn round manually from the time-setting winder at the back but the clock does not work when you turn the other wind-up key

The personal pocket diary of Sergeant Ivor Rees of the Eleventh (Service) Battalion, the South Wales Borderers (2nd Gwent) for the year 1916. Sergeant Rees was in active service in France and day by day recalled certain actions and locations in which he was involved. For action on the 31st July 1917, on the Western Front in Belgium, for most conspicuous bravery in attack Sergeant Rees was awarded the Victoria Cross. He died on 11th March 1967 at Llanelli, Camarthenshire. His VC is located at the Royal Regiment of Wales (24th/41st Museum, Brecon). Also included is an admittance ticket from Buckingham Palace for the relatives of Sergeant Rees for Wednesday 26th September 1917.
