A group of WWI/WWII medals to C H L Greenhill, 13th County of London Battalion (Kensington), comprising: 1914 star with bar (2147 Pte C H L Greenhill 1/13 Lond R), BWM and Victory (Cpl), 1939-45 Star, War Medal and Territorial Efficiency medal, Geo VI (Sgt Greenhill), mounted on a bar as worn, together with matching set of miniatures; and a quantity of paperwork, photographs, etc, much of it relating to the fact that he was a prisoner of war in both WWI and WWII, the WWII photos mostly with the stamp of "Stalag XXIA", many post card size of the camp concert party and one of him standing beside the WWI grave of Maj Cedric Charles Dickens, one of the photos together with a German phrase book, bearing the stamp of "Stalag 344", the other paperwork includes programmes for shows put on by the concert party (fragmentary), his army discharge certificate dated February 1919, his WWII reservist call up papers dated August 1939, Soldiers Pay book, pre WWII passport, private letters, copies of "The Kensington", the journal of 13 London Regt, from Vol 1 No 1 (June 1937) to Vol 18 No 3 (Sept 1959) and odd copies up to 2010, several note book diaries, a typed account of his time as a Prisoner of War, a 1915 dated slide rule in its leather case, a telescope by Dolland, London (a bit cloudy) in its leather case, etc, all contained in a large suit case, the lid marked in large letters "C.H. A VINTAGE LOUIS VUITTON MONOGRAM SUIT CARRIER Folding, with metal ribs to one side, large zipped compartment with four detachable hangers 57cm Wide x 58cm High when closed Condition: Condition Report Exterior in "vintage" condition commensurate with age and use, marks, and wear to leather, one particular white mark. reverse is in better condition with less fading and interior is mostly clean and tidy. The white wrapping to the hangers has yellowed over time and all of the metalware show environmental wear to surface and loss to gilding. Overall time aged but in good useable condition. 1986 Ford Escort RS Turbo Series I Transmission: automaticMileage:74802The Ford Escort RS Turbo was based on the three-door Ford Escort saloon and was supplied in a Diamond White body colour only. The engine fitted to the RS Turbo was a 1600cc CVH unit modified to suit the higher loads and the application of a turbocharger. Computerised fuel injection and engine management incorporating turbocharger boost control were also fitted. Aesthetically, the RS Turbo was given a distinctive sporty appearance with a body-coloured front grille, bumpers and aerodynamic aids. On the tailgate, an XR3i spoiler (also body coloured) was fitted together with 'RS Turbo' decals. The interior was trimmed in a combination of Monza and Cashmere fabrics and XR3i-type Recaro LS bucket seats were fitted as standard. Production was limited to only 5,000 examples with many being modified for racing.Originally registered on 13th January 1986 this delightful RS Turbo has been restored of which there is photographic evidence in the history folder. The car comes supplied with the original service books and a collection of invoices. The very knowledgeable and fastidious vendor has ensured the quality of this Ford has been maintained, having recently fitted a new turbo, new brakes and new front suspension. We are advised also that a new clutch has been fitted and there is a slight amount of clutch judder when pulling away in 1st gear, this should improve with use. Supplied with a V5 document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 21st April 2024. Today, many examples of this extraordinary motor car have been modified to their detriment, however, this delightful RS Turbo is in great order and can be enjoyed immediately. Prices for classic Fords shows no sign of abating.

WW2 German Werhpass to Luftwaffe Dive Bomber Pilot Johannes Dismann of Sturzkampfgeschwader 102 and later Schlachtgeschwader 151, the book is comprehensively filled out with many entries. RAD uniform photograph to the inside. The book is accompanied by four black and white photographs, two being studio portraits in flight suit and uniform. Various units are entered in the book from his service from 1936 until a Flying Accident in 1944. He rose to the rank of Unteroffizier. He is noted as being awarded the War Service Cross 2nd class and the Pilots qualification badge. Trained on various weapons including the MG13 and MG15. Dismann was from Krefield, Dusseldorf.

WW2 German Luftwaffe Casualty Wehrpass of Unteroffizier Josef Kasterik 6./Kampfgeschwader 2, well filled out wehrpass with civilian photograph to the inside, served with various Luftwaffe school and training units until 1943 when he joined Kampfgeschwader 2. Only award noted in the book is that of the Iron Cross 2nd class. He was killed in January 1944. Accompanying the book is some images of his grave, images of him in uniform and flight suit and a handwritten letter to his father after his death.
