The 7 1/2 inch (19 cm) white enamel dial signed Cappy Paris and graduated in French inches with an adjustable S-shaped gilt metal pointer. The long thermometer scale also signed and framed in entwined gilt branches, 44 1/2 ins (113 cms) overall in length.
