English - 19th century rosewood five-glass mercury wheel barometer c1880, with a swan necked pediment and round base, silvered hydrometer, temperature gauge, 8" register, butlers mirror and spirit bubble, register recording barometric air pressure from 28 to 31 inches, with a bone recording button , steel indicating hand and brass recording hand. Mercury and floats present.
HALL & CO, 56 KING STREET, MANCHESTER; an early 20th century brass cased circular wall hanging barometer, the dial inscribed 'Hall & Co, 56 King St, Manchester', diameter of dial 17cm.Condition Report: Crack to the edge of the metal bezel and scuffs and scratches to the metal case. There are also small chips and stains in the glass.
λ A silver travelling combination barometer, compass, thermometer, calendar and clock, by Asprey & Co Ltd., London 1914, of cube form, swing handle to the top with applied gold initials and date 'W.B.L 1914', with carved ivory month and weekday dials, the barometer is set on a hinged door, height 6.4cm.
