A rare John Whitehurst angle barometer, dated 1763 and signed. One of very few the famous maker produced. Both angles are veneered in mahogany and cross banded. The rear is a the oak frame and cover. Found by the current owner in France.Condition reportOverall good condition. Slight damage to cistern cover which has broken but all pieces are present and should repair. Looks like a replacement tube. One of the thin oak covers looks to be missing on the back. Hanging hooks are modern replacements.Cistern cover in separate box, slightly damaged x 3
