No engraving or erasure, as good as new and apparently responding correctly to pressure changes. Case lightly scuffed, lining frayed and stained

NOTE - Edwin Banfield, Barometer Makers & Retailers 1760-1900, records Woller as working from 51 Edgbaston Street, Birmingham, 1801-28 (see illustration).

A 19TH CENTURY FLEMISH OAK AND WALNUT STAINED STICK BAROMETER, the arched top with two ball finials on barley twist columns and pierced fretwork panel, silvered dial, height approximately 122cm Mercury is visible in the tube from the top to where it disappears behind the wooden cover, the silvered dial is very patchy, there is something missing something on the fretwork between the arched cover and the main section of the barometer, there are splits and chips in the woodwork and holes either side of the glass column, the damage is visible in the first four online photographs
