A carved oak stick barometer: having two bone dials set aslant for 10 A.M. Yesterday and 10 A.M. Today, with the instruction Add One-Tenth For Each Ninety Feet Above Sea Level along with the inscription Long Foretold Long Last, Short Notice Soon Past, Fast Rise After Low, Foretells Stronger Blow, the oak case with a carved head pediment inscribed below Inv. Torricelli 1623, with an inset thermometer above which sits the carved figure of a male head, with further carved mounts to the base and a further inscription Drebel 1620 Inv. height 122cm.

Leoni, Andover, height 118cm.* Biography Frederick Leoni is recorded as working as a clock, watch and barometer maker from before 1839 until after 1848.
