An early 19th century mahogany-cased wheel barometer; the broken swan-neck pediment above a dry/damp dial and thermometer with silvered register dial, ebonised framed circular convex mirror above a further silvered register dial signed D. Fagiol & Son, 3 Gt. Warner St., Clerkenwell. Some restoration required, the pieces to the broken swan-neck pediment present and for re-affixing. (96 cm high)

Early 20th Century barograph set in a light oak case with base drawerThe clockwork eight-day movement is housed in the drum, fitted with a seven day chart and GLUCK mechanism that covers one rotation of the drum. The aneroid barometer mechanism is gilt brass and has 12 stacked vacuum capsules and uses a gate suspension for improved sensitivity. The recording nib is on the end of a long arm which moves to record the pressure as the drum rotates.37cm wide
