A small brass carriage clock and barometer with carry handle and double key and painted pottery panels to all sides. 12.5cm w x 11cm h including handle.Condition ReportGentle wind up implies not running, possibly previously overwound. Unpolished brass. Pottery panels appear in a good condition.

~ A Victorian Carved Oak Stick Barometer, circa 1850, swan neck pediment with a central carved urn shaped finial and swag decoration, case with carved floral and scroll decoration, concealed large mercury tube, twin vernier scale dial, thermometer box, carved cistern cover, 118cm high CONDITION REPORT: 29.04.21 Case surfaces are faded in parts, minor scratches and minor dents to the edges, thermometer enamel dial with one hairline crack to the top right hand corner, visible mercury in the main tube and also in the thermometer tube.
A late 19th century miniature combination pocket barometer and compass, circa 1890, unsigned but likely made by F. Kuhn, Luzern, Switzerland, with white metal drum shaped body and fitted suspension ring, all over engine turned decoration, the compass with mother of pearl face, quartered and half black 'Singers' Patent' dial with cardinal points, dial 42mm, the barometer with silvered dial and blued steel hand, 0-9000 / 31-22 scale, 'Compensated', and swivel bezel with point marker, dial 47mm, bevelled glass to both sides, overall 29 by 50mm, 69mm including jump ring, within original fitted double sided burgundy leather case, blue velvet and white silk lined, with push button clasps, 41 by 62 by 73mm.
Two twentieth-century barometers to include a Short & Mason Stormoguide bakelite easel desk barometer, 10cm glazed dial, made in Great Britain, copyright 1929, patent no. 252887, backplate with altitude adjustment and patented August 18, 1914, 28cm x 9cm x 16cm, together with another Short & Mason Stormoguide barometer, the glazed rectangular silvered dial set on a mahogany case, with temperature and humidity, made by Taylor Instrument Companies, Rochester, New York, U.S.A., backplate with altitude adjustment, with gilt metal base and 'Harrods' retail label on verso, 23cm x 6.5cm x 14.5cm (2).Qty: 2
