Reads altitude up to 1.6 kms (1013 mb equates to sea level in the international standard atmosphere). A note attached states that this type was utilised in the Graf Zeppelin airships, as well as reference to the 1929 first flight with details of the extensive list of crew, two black and white photographs apparently illustrate the landing in Los Angeles on Aug 26, 1929. Dimensions of case - 8 7/8'', 8 15/16'' deep x 5 9/16'' high.

No guarantee on working condition, the clock appears to be overwound.

George III Scottish mahogany cased stick barometer by Russell of Falkirk (John Russell 1745-1817), 95cm high.CONDITION REPORT:The stick barometer is in good condition, the glass door has a small crack to veneer top left hand side, small 1cm od edged inlay missing at the same location.  No air gaps in the mercury column, however the mercury level sits below the dial.
