Unusual Asprey silver mounted cut glass inkwell / desk clock / barometer, the square glass well with hobnail cut base and hinged cover mounted with a crown wind movement, the enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds (at fault) and barometer mounted to the front with enamel dial, makers mark A & Co. Ltd., dated 1911 / 12, the well 4ins square, 4.25ins high CONDITION REPORT There are some small chips on the back (see photo). No signs of any cracks or restoration. No signs of repair to any silver parts, hinges are good. Enamel dial to the clock is chipped at the numeral 8. Clock is working, enamel dial to barometer is in good condition.Top is hinged onto glass and hinged on watch so folds over with clock lying flat
A 19th century gilt brass pocket barometer, the silvered dial signed 'J Hicks Maker London 5493', 5cm diam, with Morocco leather case (2) CONDITION REPORT: Minor rubbing to the gilt metal case - mostly to the loop at the top, odd faint scratch and a little dirt but generally case ok. The barometer does change when placed in a sealed bag and squeezed but we can not guarantee that it is in full working order. Leather case lining lightly grubby and worn. Leather and hinge repaired.
An Edwardian carved golden oak aneroid barometer, 77cm, with a carved oak wheel barometer (2) (Both at fault) CONDITION REPORT: The first pictured barometer has a replaced section to the top of the thermometer case - it should be domed top and the scale for the thermometer is broken in three areas. The dial on the other barometer is printed paper / card.
