Late 19th/early 20th Century brass cased carriage style mantel clock, the dial with silvered chapter ring having Arabic numerals, visible escapement, the top with inset silvered barometer and compass and folding handle, brass movement striking on a gong, 19.5cm high excluding handle Condition: Please see extra images and TELEPHONE department for further details
A collector's lot comprising a Joseph Lucas Limited of Birmingham bicycle lamp, retro clocks to include an Art Deco style Ferranti example, Royal Hampshire model trains, car mascots, an Art Deco barometer modelled as a greyhound (af) etc. CONDITION REPORT The Jaguar car mascot is pitted. Surface dirt to all items, rabbit mascot is tarnished and lacking fixings, JAZ clock has rubbing to chrome. Train models seem in good condition, brass greyhound is very tarnished. The lamp has two splits on rim around glass, the handle/fixing is very rusted and the base has been soldered.

UNUSUAL MAHOGANY AND BRASS GALLEY OF LORN WALL CLOCK AND ANEROID BAROMETER circa 1939, by Christie & Wilson, Glasgow, the clock with unsigned single train key wind movement and blued steel hands, the mount of shield form, the brass beaten in the image of a ship, bearing a plaque inscribed "This Galley & Lorn Clock & Barometer were made from timber and brass from the West Highland Steamers "Glencoe" - Columba" - "Claymore" and are presented by the officials and staff of Messrs David MacBrayne Ltd. as a token of respect & esteem to Hugh Sinclair Maclachlan. Esq. on the occasion of his marriage Glasgow 23rd November 1939", 57cm high
