An Unusual Corinthian Column Barometer with Combined Timepiece, 19th century, concealed mercury tube, 9-inch chapter ring with corresponding barometer hand, central timepiece, raised upon a stepped base, later dial and movement, 117.5cm high 24.11.14, Wooden dial surround with dents and scuff marks, central column with cracks, bottom of the column with loose mouldings, base with dents, metal surfaces are discoloured, dial is faded, numerals with some wax missing, minute hand is loose, movement not working, later dial and movement.
A Mahogany Stick Barometer, signed Wm Heaton, London, circa 1810, swan neck pediment, hinged glass door, concealed mercury tube, single vernier silvered dial signed, turned cistern cover, 96cm high 13.02.15, Case with scratches, mouldings and case edges with minor dents in parts, cistern cover with small cracks, a small piece of metal has been added above the mercury tube and the last two letters of surname of Heaton has been re-engraved, later tube with visible mercury.
An Oak Stick Barometer, signed E Zuccani, London, circa 1870, concealed mercury tube, single ivory vernier scale, thermometer box, turned cistern cover, 91cm high 06.01.15, Small piece of veneer lifting to the topside, ivory dial is slightly discoloured, bottom panel in between the dial is later, mercury thermometer tube with air bubbles, thermometer box glass with a minor chip.
A Good Mahogany Angle Barometer, signed L Bellatti, Grantham, circa 1825, figured case with visible mercury tube, single silvered vernier scale signed, turned cistern cover, 95cm high Louis Bellatti is recorded working at Grantham High Street 1825-45. (106cm.) high.
