W. & 45 CORNHILL E.C. LONDON', for '10 A.M YESTERDAY' and '10 A.M. TODAY', and patent 'No. 2347', with ivory vernier scales, the case with brass adjusters and a thermometer, 104cm high.
λ A Victorian walnut stick barometer by Negretti & Zambra, with twin ivory dials, signed 'NEGRETTI & ZAMBRA Inst Makers To The Queen London', 10 A.M. Yesterday' and '10 AM ToDay' with vernier scales, the case carved with a leaf and scroll capital with ivory adjusters and a thermometer, 99cm high.

Trombetta, Norwich, a Georgian stick barometer: the mahogany case with satinwood edge moulding, a turned cistern cover to the base and an architectural pediment to the top, with a glazed door to the brass dial, engraved with a barometer gauge and having an inset thermometer to the side, engraved with the maker's name C. Trombetta, Ld Howe St, Bend, Norwich, height 97cm. * Biography; Charles Trombetta, an Italian immigrant, married Mary Fisher at St Stephens Church, Norwich in 1797 and is recorded as working at Lord Howe Street, Benedict's Street circa 1800 and after.
"The Cust's Star-Finder" - An early 20th Century 6ins diameter celestial globe with composition body and printed gauzes showing positions of stars in various constellations, mounted on brass azimuth ring and on turned walnut stand, the flanged rim with paper gauzes and on three turned supports with conforming stretchers, 10.5ins high, (glass cracked and damage to top and base around centre pin and rubbed at joints - stand open at joints and loose and generally scuffed and damaged), and with black and white photograph of Admiral Herbert Edward Purey-Cust (1855-1938), Hydrographer to the Navy and produced the "Star-Finder" globe, the three quarters length photograph showing him in full Naval uniform, 7.5ins x 5.5ins, signed and dated 1919, in gilt metal easel pattern frame, and his gilt brass cased pocket barometer by Dixey, New Bond Street, London with silvered dial, 2ins diameter inscribed Herbert Edward Purey-Cust R.N. from M.A. 1870, in maroon leather travelling case and a Sea Chart of Logie Head to Tarbat Ness, surveyed by Capt. H.E. Purey-Cust R.N. assisted by the Officers of H.M. Surveying Ship 'Triton' 1902-03, re-published 1914, 26.5ins x 44.5ins Note : This globe is thought to have been made by F. Barker & Sons, 12 Clerkenwell Road, London circa 1900
An early 20th Century French carriage style desk timepiece, barometer, thermometer and compass, the twin 1.875ins diameter white enamel dials with Arabic numerals to the eight day single train movement, and the barometer with aneroid movement, contained in plated brass and bevelled glass rectangular case, 6.5ins x 2.75ins x 4.75ins high ( plating rubbed on top and at highlights and side panel loose)
A cased Negretti & Zambra Compensated Pocket Barometer from the estate of Field Marshal Garnet Joseph Wolseley, the glazed brass case engraved to the back Sir Garnet Wolsely GCB July 1882, contained in its green silk and velvet lined case. The date indicates that this could have been used during the Anglo-Egyptian and Mahdist wars.
