A post-Regency mahogany wheel barometer, the level signed Bernascone, Sheffield, 20cm silvered register, hygrometer, alcohol thermometer, convex mirror, the case with swan neck pediment, outlined throughout with boxwood stringing, 97.5cm high, c. 1830 Records show Luciano Bernescone as working between 1825-1845.
A substantial early Victorian country house rosewood combination barometer and timepiece, 30cm silvered register, brass hands inscribed Today and Yesterday, 14cm convex clock dial inscribed Nelmes, King Street, Bloomsbury, 1842, silvered hygrometer, alcohol thermometer, the well-figured case with swan neck pediment, level to base, 118.5cm high, dated 1842Robert Nelmes was in business at this address primarily as a clockmaker 1828-1844. Condition Report: Silvering lost on timepiece dial; indicator missing on balance.
A small early 20th century continental brass cased carriage clock, the white porcelain dial with black Arabic numerals, set with bevelled glass plates, 10.5cm high, together with a Victorian mahogany framed wall barometer, the painted dial set in a circular shallow carved frame below a central column thermometer on opaque glass flanked by turned columns below a finial pediment, 9cm dial diameter, 40cm high (total) (2).

(30.5 x 56cm.); together with two range finders and a compass pelorus in wooden cases of issue (4) ~~*~~ The 1930 Henry Hughes & Son catalogue lists the standard model of this instrument at £10 10 0 but this version (with a handsome wooden frame) at £15 0 0.
