A mid 19c cistern barometer, the open silvered plates signed Davies, Derby and having a visible tube and vernier adjustment. It also has a Fahrenheit mercury thermometer and the flat mahogany backplate has vertical fluting parallel to the tube and flower heads and moulding around the plates. The circular cistern cover has a bullseye design on it and the barometer is 34.5in tall.
