Further details: missing area as mentioned above; loss to veneer and mother of pearl inlay; some chips and nibbles; general wear; damage to glass.
A late 19th century J W Benson brass cased carriage timepiece / barometer with twin thermometers, the clock dial with black Arabic and Roman numerals, with central silvered dial compass, with presentation inscription to "Captain Llewellyn Davies from A.
