Moody Bell & Son.- Opticians, Colonnade, Cheltenham'; thermometer below and a reservoir protected by a carved laurel wreath in high relief (107 cm high)

Norddeutscher Lloyd Barometer, Zustand: 1, Bremen, um 1932, 38 x 57 cm, Hinterglaslithographie auf Holzkorpus, funktionstüchtiges Barometer, hier für einen Vertreter in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Hersteller: Glasplakatefabrik Offenburg, mit Herstelleretikett bzw. Garantieschein auf der Rückseite. Der Garantieschein mit allerlei Text und mit Datum 1929 versehen. Zusätzlich ein Brandstempel der "Norddeutschen Lloyd Bremen" auf der Rückseite. Die beiden Glasecken unten links haben einen kleinen Abbruch im Millimeterbereich, daher auch nur Zustand 1. Alle Farben und Druck perfekt.
Norddeutscher Lloyd Barometer, Bremen, um 1920, 24 x 38 x 5 cm, Hinterglaslithographie auf Holzkorpus, mit funktionstüchtigem Barometer, makelloses Glas mit Facettenschliff, im Schwarz kleine Farbbeschädigung, auf Barometerhöhe quer ein heller Streifen auf der Glasoberfläche, daher nur Zustand (1).
A carved oak �Royal Polytechnic Barometer� manufactured by Joseph Davis & Co, London, c1880, with a foliate carved gable pediment above a 9.5 inch glazed and silvered register inscribed �Royal Polytechnic Barometer�, with trade name �Joseph Davis & Co sole manufacturers Royal Polytechnic Institution, London� register delineated with two sets of scales titled �Set Yesterday� and �Set Today� with adjustable brass recording pointers adjusted via two setting buttons (missing) below the register, the rectangular glazed lower case provided with �Special Remarks� and weather predictions flanking the bulb cistern mercury tube above twin Fahrenheit and Centigrade mercury thermometers.Joseph Davis & Co are recorded as working from the Royal Polytechnic Institution, 6 Kensington Park Road, London,1871, They were granted the sole rights to produce the Royal Polytechnic Barometer in England which was based on the Admiral Fitzroy pattern of barometer with similar but more comprehensive observations.Dimensions: Height: 102cm Length/Width: 26cm Depth/Diameter: 7cm
Victorian mercury syphon tube hall barometer c1870 in a rosewood case with a 12� register, makers plaque inscribed �T H Doublet, 6 Moorgate Street, Bank manufactory, 7 City Road�Angular case with a swan's neck pediment and flat base, incorporating a hygrometer, bowfronted Fahrenheit spirit thermometer, level bubble and recording button, engraved silvered register recording barometric air pressure from 28 to 31 inches with weather predictions, with a steel indicating hand and brass recording hand within a cast brass bezel and convex glass.T.H. Doublet were manufacturer of spectacles, barometers, thermometers, Philosophical Instruments and photographic equipment; 1849-1900, based at 7 City Road, London (1853-68) 6-7 Moorgate Street, London (1861-78) and 11 Moorgate Street, London (1878-1900).Dimensions: Height: 125cm
