Victorian silver mounted desk compendium, the tooled leather case with easel style support verso, with silver mounted hinged cover, pierced and engraved with lattice, floral and C scroll decoration and central mercury thermometer, hallmarked William Comyns & Sons, London 1898, H11.2cm, W20cm, opening to reveal a velvet lined fitted interior containing a plated pocket barometer and a plated goliath pocket watch, case no. 1484494, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, with Swiss lever movementCondition Report:Silver mount with some surface scratches, nicks and small knocks. Couple of splits to thinner areas of decoration. Tooled leather case with some wear, has replacement easel support which is not covered. Interior worn with some discolouration. Watch will run, time keeping not checked. Hallmarks clear and legible.
Barograph Barometer - This is a wonderful English oak cased barograph. The case is super quality having glass to all sides and the top, eight bellows, and has a lovely feature of a chart drawer in which spare charts and other items can be stored. The case is made from oak which is a lovely colour.
