Unusual Black Forest carved walnut cased travelling aneroid barometer, late 19th century, the case carved with scrolls, flowers and fruit inset with a rectangular mercury thermometer with silvered scale, the circular aperture housing a removable brass drum shaped barometer with a silvered scale around visible workings, 66.5cm high.
Large giltwood wheel back barometer, the silvered dial inscribed ''Crosta-Cetta, Gobbi & Co., 34 St. Johns Lane, Smithfield, London'' with a temperature gauge to the column and turned adjuster below, the case with a scallop shell motif to the top and with a spray of flowers to centre, scrolled acanthus motifs and beadwork below, 118cm high.
