A 9 carat gold opal butterfly brooch, with ruby set eyes and wings and body set throughout with opals, measures 2cm by 4cm The brooch is in good condition. The central opal to the body appears to have a surface reaching fracture. It is hallmarked with sponsor's mark 'HBJ', London, 1992. It fastens with a pin and safety catch. Gross weight 4.6 grams. An opal and diamond bangle, the front with three oval opals spaced by two old cut diamonds in star settings, with cannetille decoration, to a plain polished hinged back, total estimated diamond weight 0.30 carat approximately, measures 5cm by 5.7cm inner diameter The bangle is in good condition. It is stamped '15CT' and in our opinion would test as gold. It fastens with a tongue and box clasp with a safety chain. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I, clarity SI1/SI2. It is not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as gold. It fastens with a pin and modified c-hook and has a hook for attaching a bail for use as a pendant. Gross weight 4.8 grams. It fastens with a pin and modified c-hook and has a hook for use as a pendant. The hallmark is worn with no assay mark, but could possibly be for Birminhgham 1871. Gross weight 12.6 grams. It is stamped '9CT' and in our opinion would test as gold. It fastens with a pin and c-hook. The bail is removeable. Gross weight 6.0 grams. Condition Report made 9th June 2017.
