There is no obvious sign of previous damage or repair. No dents or deformation of the metalwork. All the links appear to be secure and the clasp functions correctly. The rear of the stones are in the cabochon manner, however due to the setting which covers the sides of the stones it is not possible to clearly establish whether the opals are doublet, triplet or otherwise. The stones have light marks commensurate with age and light usage. Overall an interesting piece.
