The enamel is in good condition all round and there are no significant dents or scratches to the metalwork. Unfortunately, there is some deterioration of the gilt filigree. Pieces have become detached and are floating round under the glass. This should be evident from our images. The hair sections appear to be in good order. Two of the left hand seed pearls at the narrow part of the hair are detached. As stated, there are numerous small breaks to the filigree. There is some deterioration to the small seed pearls which form part of the letter G. There is one small seed pearl missing from the surround.
